INFO   •  I was inspired to create a partial animated lyric video for one of my favorite songs, Jules Quesnel by Shimmertraps, by a designer I met with in college. This synth-laden song is bubbly, energized, and a bit nostalgic, so I wanted to animate a music video with fun colors and bouncy transitions to emulate the playful energy of the song. I was inspired by neon lights at night to create colorful yet minimal typography and imagery contrasted against a dark background.

My concept for the video was to create not only a video but an animated poster. The lyric video can exist in two states; a virtual video, and a printed poster that can be sold and work as merch for the band.
